Dotsquares integrated Zoho CRM and Zoho Books with Megaphone for SBS Corporation, using S3 Lambda and Python scripts to process large files. Automated workflows enhanced data accuracy, invoicing, and efficiency, streamlining operations across the media company.
Spanish Broadcasting System (SBS), established in 1983 and publicly listed since 1999, is a leading media company headquartered in Miami, FL. Recently expanding into podcast production, SBS focuses on audience growth, brand awareness, and content creator reach, leveraging its expertise to deliver innovative broadcasting solutions.
SBS Corporation faced challenges in managing large data files from Megaphone, provided in text format for upload to an S3 bucket. Zoho’s file size restrictions (limited to a few megabytes) prevented direct processing of these files, requiring a solution to segment large files into manageable chunks. Additional challenges included ensuring data accuracy during segmentation, integrating real-time data into Zoho CRM and Zoho Books, and streamlining impression data tracking and invoicing to reduce manual efforts.
Dotsquares implemented an S3 Lambda function and a Python script to split large Megaphone files into smaller segments compliant with Zoho’s size limits, ensuring accurate data processing. Webhooks facilitated real-time data integration from Megaphone into Zoho CRM and Zoho Books, replicating Megaphone’s data structure for seamless compatibility. Zoho CRM tracked impression data, while Zoho Books automated invoice creation based on this data. Custom APIs enabled efficient data fetching from S3, streamlining data management and invoicing processes across departments.
The Zoho CRM and Zoho Books integration transformed SBS Corporation’s data management, automating real-time data processing and invoicing. The S3 Lambda function and Python script enabled seamless handling of large files, improving data accuracy. Automated workflows reduced manual efforts, enhancing operational efficiency across departments, reliability, and overall business performance.
