During Microsoft’s October Surface Event and press conference, the company made some exciting announcements, not just focusing on the Surface Laptop 2, Surface Pro 6, and Surface Studio 2, Microsoft also announced the all-new Surface headphones, Office 365, and Windows 10 Updates.
The new Surface PC series now comes with advanced features and new designs. Microsoft’s Surface Laptop 2 now comes in a range of colours including platinum, burgundy, cobalt blue, graphite gold, and the colour that really stood out to people, Black. Another in the series of the Surface PC’s line-up presented during the event was the Surface Pro 6 and has proved its effectiveness in the Tagline ‘the go-anywhere versatility’ with the incredible power of Intel Core 8th Gen i5 or i7, this can fit in its 770 gms with i5, and 784 gms with i7. Coming in two classic colours Platinum and Black, the device also boasts 10 point multi-touch, 12.3” PixelSense™ Display, Intel® UHD Graphics 620 (i5), and Windows Hello face authentication camera (front-facing), with other conventional hardware parts like ambient light sensor, accelerometer, gyroscope, and wireless Bluetooth 4.1.
Though Microsoft 10’s latest update 1089, had a good amount of media attention, some of its features still missed the highlights. Microsoft also announced the launch of the Office 2019 suite, which has most of the features that Office 365 users were already enjoying. In fact, Office 365 itself has received some major updates, making this subscription-based service more enticing for the users. Some of the more exciting features of the tool include new proofreading, 3D graphics, and animation tools in PowerPoint, speedy lookup tools in Excel, and new ribbon looks in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
