Sussex Squash and Racketball is pleased to announce that Dotsquares, the Sussex based digital design and development company specialising in bespoke websites & web applications, mobile Apps, SEO and Hosting is to become the main sponsor of Sussex Junior squash. Sussex prides itself as being one of the country’s leading counties in the development of junior squash talent and over recent years has produced many highly ranked youngsters, and a number of national champions and England internationals. The Boys’ and Girls’ teams are having a very successful 2014/5 season, with a record number of three teams having reached the National Finals, where the U-13 Girls and the Under-17 Boys finished a very creditable 4th, whilst the U-15 Boys were 3rd, and the U-17 Girls won the National Trophy Event. With a very strong looking U-11 contingent soon to compete in two forthcoming Inter-County Festivals, there is considerable promise of even more success on the horizon.
Commenting on this exciting new partnership between Dotsquares and Sussex Squash Bankim Chandra (Managing Director) said “ We are proud and delighted to have the opportunity to forge this new partnership between Dotsquares and Sussex Squash. Dotsquares has a particular interest in the advancement of the sport having sponsored the Sussex Business Squash League since 2009. Like ourselves Sussex Squash are a dynamic, forward looking organisation and we wish them all the success that their dedication and hard work will undoubtedly bring”
On behalf of Sussex Squash Graham Stevenson, the county’s head coach added “we have achieved a great deal to date, operating on a self-financing basis, and all involved are extremely proud of the fact that England Squash & Racketball have acknowledged our commendable set-up, but the key to ultimate success is to strive to improve, and keep improving, and there are certain aspects which can be developed only with suitable funding. It is for this reason that we are so excited by the potential of the association with Dotsquares.”
The sponsorship agreement comes at a time of great success for Sussex Junior Squash andcoincides with Squash pursuing a strong case for inclusion in the 2020 Olympics. The support from Dotsquares represents a major boost to the county’s Developments Programmes, and hopefully will lead to even greater successes for the County in the future – perhaps the elusive capture of a National Inter-County title!
