Returning to Europe’s Largest Business Event at London Olympia!

Last week on Thursday 16th and Friday 17th November we attended The Great British Business Show for a second time this year! Attracting over 25,000 corporations from around the world, the exhibition is Europe’s largest business show.The exhibition provides dedicated support for guiding startups, SMEs and large corporations on their business journey.

The event took place over two days and was packed with important information about how you can nurture your business. As well as a variety of master classes, there were Keynote speeches from industry leading mentors, business owners, and successful business icons you may have seen in the media. Such icons include Levi Roots from Dragons Den and some of the Dragons themselves.

Alongside such iconic individuals Dotsquares own CEO Bankim Chandra, also spoke at the event about the vital ingredients needed to start your own technology company. This included getting the right staffing mix, finding your niche, quick financial wins with the right technology, and how to market your services.

As a startup once ourselves we have taken the business from just 5 developers to over 650 staff internationally. On top of that we now have established offices in all corners of the globe including the UK, the US, France, Australia, 3 development centres in Jaipur, and also a brand new office in the United Arab Emirates. Having a global voice has opened many doors of opportunities, which is why Bankim felt it was necessary to share our story and experience with other business owners, particularly the next generation of entrepreneurs.

Further to Bankim’s Keynote speech Project Manager Pranay Misra took to the stand on Friday, to educate attendees on how mobile apps can play a vital role in the success of a business. These days the majority of businesses are now moving to mobile apps to meet the needs of their consumers. Apps can provide a better user experience (UX), which in turn provides a higher customer retention, and increases your Return Of Investment (ROI). Pranay continued on to highlight several other key reasons to why entrepreneurs should consider mobile apps, and emphasised the key role they played in business.

Over the course of the two days we met some incredible individuals that had some great ideas for new products and companies, and we hope that we inspired them to go on and fulfill their business goals. We feel this will be the first of many years attending the show, and we’re already looking forward to next year!
