What was the scope of the project involved?

Transfer of software application from one server to another (AWS to Azure and update PHP), update, fix, and then code enhancements.

How did Dotsquares meet your requirements?

Rajendra (the developer) has been very responsive. He has coded all the various enhancements we have required, in what is an extremely complex system, and has made fixes where the original developers (from a different company) had made errors. He has had to learn not only what this system is intended to do, but also extactly how it has been coded. There have been some complexities, which he has managed to solve in good time. CRM applications like ours, which has several direct interfaces with customers, are always complex (as the customer variables in terms of platforms used and basic levels of competency are absolutely wild!). He has been very patient and has worked har with his QA team to get things working and in good order. When we had some urgent fixes needed (fixes that were hangovers from the previous developers), Rejendra worked late to get it done. He understood the urgency and just made it happen. I could not ask for more than that. Spectacular!

What do you value about Dotsquares?

I like the fact that I can track things through DSP (the online job tracking set up), but also speak directly to my developer via Skype. This is all helpful. I love the ability to book dedicated time, but also to book bucket time for ad hoc fixes and adjustments. Price is always competitive.

Creation of the entire website from scratch, that will be capable and offer the features required to bring both parties together on one website, and allow both categories to communicate and do business.

There were a number of features that were added after the original proposal, as it took until building the site to see what else I looked over when making the original proposal, and getting the advice and support of the team to have everything come out in the best way possible. And even though we needed to go beyond the time frame set out in the original proposal, the end result of the website in it's entirety, was well worth the extra time and expense to get everything perfect before the site goes live.

The entire team I was given, and the project manager Nikhil performed extremely well, and were very accommodating to the new features and requirements that were not in the original proposal. I can not thank the team enough for all the work and dedication they have all shown on this project, and I am very satisfied that I chose Dotsquares to do business with. The design ideas from Ajay were better in most cases than I imagined it to be, and the website looks and functions much better than I expected. So thank you to Dotsquares for giving me such an amazing team to help me, and thanks again to all the team I had, for everything they did to make this website a reality for me and my company. After talks with several leading web developers about the concept i opted to use Dotsquares. My project which is prize draw competition site, that specialises in luxury holiday give-aways, i felt that both Sachin Sharma (project manager) and Arnav Jain (developer) had a very clear understanding of how the site needed to function.

What was the scope of the project involved?

For me, i thought Arnav and Sachin showed both excitement and enthusiasm for this type of project as it not the run of the mill type website. It is an alternative to a "spot the ball" competition, where users have to use their knowledge to answer a question before being able to purchase a ticket for the draw. After their purchase their numbers will go into the draw only if they answered correctly. There is a counter built in that counts down to the draw date and then randomly selects the winner. The winners details and winning ticket number are immediately projected on to the home page so as entrants can watch the draw live. The site was coded using PHP laravel with an initial estimate of 7 weeks, after several changes and amendments, the build time was around 9 weeks.

How did Dotsquares meet your requirements?

I genuinely believe that Arnav went above and beyond the initial scope to ensure that i was completely satisfied with the final product. He made complex coding seem easy, he offered both advice and solutions in areas of the site that either i had not considered or was very unsure about. As the project developed, i would often want to add in more functionality to which Arnav would do without question or hesitation. He worked very long hours to ensure delivery was on time. The finished site has far exceed my expectations and i am very thankful for all the hard work that has gone into it. I would not hesitate for a moment to recommend Dotsquares and i very much look forward to working with them again in the near future.
