What was the scope of the project involved?

The project was to replace the first version of fotspot with a brand new, simplified design, while maintaining the original app concept and migrating digital content from the old version to the new, improved version.

With the help of Dotsquares, we have built the new version to the design envisaged. We are pleased that their has been no need to compromise on the design, functionality or usability of the app.

What do you value about Dotsquares?

Although the build did not meet the original deadline, the India based team we worked with, made sure that we worked through all the issues to meet our specifications for the app. Scheduling weekly calls via Skype for updates with the team in India, helped progress the bug tracking, resolution and testing of the app. The team in India has been a pleasure to work with, always professional and always very helpful. We would, however, like to give one constructive criticism and this relates to Change Management: throughout the build cycle, it would be helpful, if Dotsquares was able to tighten up on and be more aware of the effect of making any changes in the app to resolve bugs, it would greatly minimise time spent on reoccurring bugs for both sides. As a customer of Dotsquares it is advisable that you know exactly what you want as they build to order. We are very pleased with the work they have carried out for us on this project and will happily continue as a customer for future builds.

Upgraded project from Magento 1.9 to 2.3.2. and integration with PayPal. The project required a full Rewrite of the website, and integration of new plugins.

What was the scope of the project involved?

The scope provided to Dot Squares was to create an escort booking application with an emphasis around the ability to confirm the identity of both the clients and the escorts to ensure a safe transaction between both parties. The application was to incorporate SMS facilities as well as email, escort calendar and booking system, online chat between all parties, membership system, image management, video management, external booking management and rate and review system.

The brief was handed to Dot Squares how then proceeded to draw up the specifications for the system. They identified many aspects to be incorporated into the system that we hadn't though of which would add value to both the client and the escort. Once the specification and pricing was agreed to they got to work and delivered the project on time and on budget. We did add a few things along the way, which they were more than happy to add into the system.

I particularly enjoyed the experience of working with Dot Squares, the communication was excellent with our project manager being available whenever we needed him. I also like the bug tracking and online communication system they have developed, this made it very easy for us to log and track bugs in the system and have them rectified quite quickly. The entire process was quite stress free and easy and I look forward to our continuing relationship with them.
